About the event

A run that makes a difference — every entry fee goes straight to rehabilitation

Event website

(Za)Dyszka is a charity road race held by Jezioro Długie in Olsztyn. All entry fee income goes to the treatment and rehabilitation of Łukasz Lisowski, an Olsztyn resident living with quadriplegia. The event combines competition with real help for one specific person: every złoty of the entry fee becomes a direct donation to his therapy.

Runners choose between two forest courses — 5 km and 10 km — laid out through the area around Jezioro Długie. The field is capped at 450 participants in total, which keeps the event small and family-friendly. Alongside the main races there are kids’ races in four age categories, so the whole family can take part.

The 8th edition of (Za)Dyszka took place on 23 August 2026. We will announce the date of the next edition soon.

The cause

Łukasz Lisowski from Olsztyn lives with quadriplegia and needs constant rehabilitation. The organisers of (Za)Dyszka — the company ZETOSoftware — decided from the first edition in 2019 that 100% of every entry fee goes directly to his treatment. On top of that, every optional souvenir T-shirt (10 PLN) adds a few more złoty to the cause. Over eight editions the race has raised successive instalments for his rehabilitation, and built a loyal community of runners who come back every year to run for a reason.

From the start, the event has been fully charitable: all entry fee income goes to Łukasz Lisowski’s rehabilitation. In 2026 the race reached its 8th edition, steadily building a local running community and a group of regular donors in Olsztyn and the surrounding area.
