History
The Wielkopolska Half-Marathon Grand Prix was launched in 2010 by the “Wielkopolska” School Sports Association, on the initiative of the Sport and Tourism Department of the Marshal’s Office, as a project to bring the region’s key races together in one prestigious series. The series was suspended in 2020–2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and returned in 2022 with close to 11,000 runners. Since 2024 the Poco Loco Adventure Association has run the series, and its popularity keeps growing: the record 2025 season drew almost 19,000 participants.
